The EU has agreed to delist Russian billionaires Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman while extending sanctions on nearly 3,000 people and companies accused of supporting the war in Ukraine for three years. Ireland’s EU presidency called the arrangement a “difficult compromise”; Ukraine condemned the decision as unacceptable, “shameful and unjustifiable.”
