Rostec says modernization has transformed Russia’s Yak-130M from a “flying classroom” into a full-fledged combat aircraft capable of engaging low-speed targets such as enemy strike UAVs. The aircraft can detect air and ground targets, use a thermal imager in poor visibility, and carries added launchers for greater firepower.
