Russia increased frozen pollock fillet exports to the European Union by 16% in volume and 44% in value from January through July 2026, the Fish Union said. Its weight-based market share rose from 44% to 51%. Russian fish exports to the EU totaled 113,000 tonnes worth $513 million, while frozen herring shipments resumed after a two-year pause.
