China’s first cross-sea suburban railway, the Ningbo-Xiangshan line, opened Tuesday in eastern Zhejiang. Stretching 61.45 kilometers with 10 stations and speeds of up to 160 kph, it crosses the Xiangshan Port Cross-Sea Bridge and puts downtown Ningbo and Xiangshan within a half-hour transport circle.
