CultureBrigitte Bardot’s personal items sell for nearly €1m at Paris auction

Nearly €1m was raised in Paris from the auction of 285 personal possessions belonging to Brigitte Bardot, almost 20 times their estimate. Proceeds will go to her animal welfare foundation and her son, while her widower condemned the sale as disrespectful to her memory. The foundation said its board had approved it.
