SocietyEU Kids Act: The EU’s plan to make the internet safer for kids

The EU’s new Kids Act would ban social media for children under 13 while allowing 13- to 15-year-olds to use “mini accounts”. It would also prohibit infinite scrolling, push notifications and contact from strangers, and require video games, AI chatbots and app stores to be “safe by design”.
