Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment forecasts 23 million tons of oil and 53 billion cubic meters of gas from the country’s continental shelf in 2026. It expects production to remain at those levels in 2027. Russia has 75 offshore oil and gas fields, 20 of which are already producing.
