A Sept. 21 snapshot showed about $120 billion of staked ETH and $40.4 billion in average daily total value locked on layer-2 networks, but the figures measure different things and cannot be combined as fresh demand. US-traded Ethereum ETFs also saw more than $140 million in net outflows from Sept. 15 to 18. Staking, L2 assets, ETF flows, fees and ETH burn are separate measures that do not by themselves establish total demand or supply contraction.
