WorldFinnair forced to launch 24-hour flight due to Russian airspace ban
Finnair will launch a Helsinki–Melbourne service taking about 24 hours, with a technical stop in Bangkok. The route must avoid Russian airspace, which remains closed to airlines from countries deemed “unfriendly.” Daily flights are scheduled to begin on October 25.
