CultureBritish Museum bans visitors from photographing Bayeux Tapestry

The British Museum has stopped visitors from photographing the 68m Bayeux Tapestry because people pausing to take pictures were slowing the one-way flow through the sold-out exhibition and creating queues. The 11th-Century embroidery is on loan from Normandy and will remain in London until July 2027.
