The forgetfulness, mental fog and cognitive changes some women experience during pregnancy—sometimes called “momnesia,” “mommy brain,” “pregnancy brain” or “baby brain”—may be linked to disrupted brain circuits. Examples include forgetting why they entered a room or misplacing car keys in the bathroom.
