TechAround 7,000 humanoid robots sold worldwide in 2025, Reuters reports
The International Federation of Robotics estimated that about 7,000 humanoid robots were sold globally for industrial and professional service applications in 2025. Its secretary general said they remain only a small share of all robots, with many units bought by research institutes and companies to gather data for improving AI models.
