Trade between Georgia and Russia reached $2.03 billion in January-August 2026, up 19.1% year on year, according to Georgia’s National Statistics Office. Russia accounted for 11.3% of Georgia’s foreign trade and ranked third among its trading partners. Georgian exports to Russia rose to about $500.7 million, while imports reached roughly $1.5 billion.
