ScienceGiant panda Beixia receives world-first treatment for crooked jaw
Beixia, a 4-year-old giant panda, has completed nearly six months of orthodontic treatment for a misaligned lower jaw. A device designed by Sichuan University West China Hospital of Stomatology and the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding helped restore normal sucking, chewing and swallowing.
