Hong Kong held a public memorial on Sunday for Tung Chee-hwa, who served as the HKSAR’s first and second-term chief executive and as a vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee. Tung died of illness on September 8 at age 89. Central and Hong Kong officials attended the service.
