Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani warned that Middle East security requires respect for sovereignty and an end to escalation cycles. He called the war’s economic fallout an “earthquake” and pledged more than $38bn for domestic infrastructure over five years. Qatar also said it is working to revive Tehran-Washington talks.
