WorldPhotos: Nepal flood survivors find little trace of former lives

Floods in Nepal have displaced thousands, while survivors mourn relatives and search debris for belongings. A torrent of mud, rock and water triggered by a glacial collapse destroyed settlements along the Trishuli River, killing at least 1,386 people on Nepal’s side and leaving 5,130 missing. In Betrawati and nearby areas, residents say their homes, land and futures are gone.
