Google says an undercover researcher infiltrated TeamPCP during its sprawling campaign, which allegedly poisoned hundreds of open-source projects, stole developer accounts and breached more than 1,000 companies. The operation helped Google monitor the hackers, warn targets and disrupt attacks. Google later passed identifying clues to law enforcement.
