TechChina’s CXMT touts new chip platform as close to ‘world’s most advanced’

Chinese memory-chip giant Changxin Memory Technologies said its fifth-generation G5 technology platform has entered mass production. The company said dies per wafer rose by at least 50% from the previous generation, narrowing the manufacturing-node gap with leaders such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
