Huangzhuang Village in Hebei, known as China’s “Mooncake Village,” has exported handmade mooncakes overseas in bulk for the first time. More than 20,000 packs went to Australia and two shipments of 30,000 packs each to South Korea, with total export value exceeding 1 million yuan. The batches sold out within seven and three days, respectively.
