SportsFormula E secures long-term future in China as new team joins grid

Formula E is preparing for its longest season, with 21 races planned for 2026-2027 and a major switch to GEN4 cars. China will be the only country to host three rounds: Shanghai will stage two races and Sanya is scheduled to return in April 2027. Driver changes include Envision Racing signing Zak O’Sullivan and Maximilian Günther.
