World‘Devoted’ father and grandfather-to-be killed in suspected shark attack at Australian beach
Greg O’Neill, 63, is believed to have died after a suspected shark attack while swimming at Sorrento Beach near Perth, Western Australia. The incident led Fisheries Minister Jackie Jarvis to authorize the rare catch-and-kill of the protected great white shark. Police said they were confident the swimmer died because of the attack.
