Syria’s Defence Ministry says an explosion at a weapons cache inside a Syrian Arab Army position in Ayyash, western Deir Az Zor, killed 11 soldiers and wounded nine others. The cause remains unknown and an investigation is under way. The military held a funeral for the victims.
