WorldUN: Gazans face critical shelter conditions as rainy season arrives

UN humanitarian officials say shelter conditions for most people in Gaza have deteriorated to critical or catastrophic levels as the rainy season begins. About 1.2 million people, or 58% of the population, are affected, while more than 65% of assessed families live in tents or makeshift shelters. A damaged residential building partly collapsed in Gaza City; children were rescued and only minor injuries were reported.
