More than 2.8 million people had voted through Russia’s federal remote electronic voting platform by 6:45 p.m. GMT, putting turnout among registered participants at 70%, the Digital Development Ministry said. Smolensk and Novgorod regions recorded 80%, followed by Mari El at 79%.
