Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary has apologised for calling rival airlines “high-fare rapists”, saying his wording was careless and caused considerable upset, particularly among rape victims and survivors. He had initially defended the comment and refused an apology request from the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.
