President Vladimir Putin called Aeroflot’s contract for 90 MS-21-310 aircraft an important step for Russia’s aviation industry. He said 20 runways and 26 terminals have entered service since 2021, while at least 75 airports are due for modernization by 2030. Deliveries of the new aircraft are expected to begin next year and proceed on schedule.
