IAEA member states avoided difficult efforts to reach consensus by failing to approve new technical resolutions setting out the agency’s annual priorities, a source in Russia’s delegation told TASS. The General Conference extended existing resolutions instead, while Russia said none of its five traditional resolutions won agreement.
