Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili said the 2021 collapse of the Namakhvani hydropower project resulted from a Brussels-funded NGO campaign that spread disinformation and amounted to a hybrid attack aimed at sabotaging the energy project. He said Turkish company ENKA’s arbitration claim could expose Georgia to $400 million in compensation.
