Russia’s MOEX and RTS indices each gained 0.72% at the start of Friday’s main trading session, reaching 2,265.32 and 844.23 points. By 9:30 a.m. Moscow time, both had advanced 0.9%, while the yuan strengthened slightly against the ruble.
