TechHackers reveal how Flock cameras track cars and people

Hackers removed a Flock camera above a roadway, copied nearly all of its stored data, and shared the files with 404 Media and WIRED. Their analysis found that the device’s software explicitly detects people as well as vehicles, plates, and bicycles. The camera can produce dozens of images per passing vehicle, with recovered logs showing more than a million images over several weeks.
