Pennsylvania has asked the CDC for emergency help with an expanding measles outbreak but says it will withdraw the request unless the agency recognises four deaths the state classified as measles-associated. The CDC says it did not receive the request through normal channels. The state reports 731 cases across 38 counties and 141 hospitalisations.
