EconomyUS will not impose tariffs on China before Trump-Xi meeting, Bloomberg reports
Washington will not impose new tariffs on China before or during Xi Jinping’s expected visit to the United States next week, Bloomberg reports, citing sources. Publication of a trade investigation recommending an additional 7.5% duty on Chinese goods has been delayed for an unknown reason, while the final tariff level remains unclear. Donald Trump expects Xi to arrive in Washington on September 24.
