Turkish authorities have launched an unprecedented crackdown on LGBT people, raiding gay bars and shutting activist organizations while saying the campaign protects family values. Amnesty International says about 116 people were arrested or detained across 15 provinces, more than 160 investigated and 180 related social-media accounts restricted or blocked.
