Sylvia Zin has urged President Donald Trump to seek the release of her husband, US scholar U Min Zin, when he meets Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House next week. Speaking to Congress, she also asked Trump to help free US seismologist Chen Youlin, who is imprisoned in China. The US has designated both men as wrongfully detained.
