WorldRussian Emergencies Ministry Il-76 crew honored in Serbia for fighting wildfires
The crew of a Russian Emergencies Ministry Il-76 aircraft assisting with wildfire suppression in Serbia has been honored by the International Police Association’s Serbian branch. Since Aug. 20, the aircraft has made 65 sorties and dropped 130 water loads totaling 2,730 metric tons. It is due back in Russia on Sept. 19.
