Anatoly Aksakov, chairman of the Russian State Duma’s Financial Market Committee, expects up to 3% of Russians with bank accounts to use the digital ruble in daily life by early next year. He said some iPhone users can already use it despite connection problems, which he expects to be resolved by then. The mass rollout began on September 1.
