Russia’s electricity exports edged lower in January–August 2026 compared with the same period last year, Inter RAO board member Alexandra Panina said. In the first half, Inter RAO raised exports 4% to 3.2 billion kWh and cut imports 5.3% to 1.2 billion kWh. Exports to Kazakhstan rose 20.3%, while deliveries to Mongolia fell 6%.
