Eurasian Economic Commission Board Chairman Bakytzhan Sagintayev says ratification of the Eurasian Economic Union’s free trade agreement with Indonesia is under way and the deal is expected to take effect by the end of the year. Signed in December 2025, it is expected to reduce tariffs on about $3 billion in bilateral trade.
