TechHacker turned 55 days of failed transactions into a $3 million master key for GalaChain wallets
GalaChain said an attacker used signatures from failed transactions over the previous 55 days, exploiting weaknesses in signature verification and replay protection to drain about 2 billion GALA and other tokens worth roughly $3 million from nine wallets on Aug. 18. The flaws had survived several audits; Gala paused its bridge and patched them.
