A court heard that Australia Post worker Mauro Paul Coluzzi and two associates defrauded customers and banks of more than $130,000. Coluzzi stole dozens of cards from secure mail in Sydney’s eastern suburbs over 15 months, using them for cash and purchases including gold jewellery, phones and gaming gift cards. He was jailed until December 2027 and will then be eligible for parole.
