Guangzhou’s imports and exports with ASEAN reached 146.4 billion yuan, or about $20.5 billion, in the first eight months of 2026, up 6.6% year on year, customs data showed. Nansha Port also exported more cars and imported fresh fruit from ASEAN, while Chinese companies expanded production networks in the region.
