WorldEU to launch climate insurance alliance after extreme summer
The European Union will establish a climate insurance alliance to expand coverage for extreme weather, Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said. The initiative will bring together insurers, investors, risk modelers, public authorities and policyholders, while promoting tools such as group and parametric insurance.
