North Korean Vice Defense Minister Kim Kang Il said the country will continue acting as a nuclear state confronting hostile forces. Speaking at the Beijing Xiangshan Forum, he called its constitutionally enshrined nuclear status an absolute, irreversible boundary and said Pyongyang would strengthen its independent nuclear deterrence while defending peace and stability.
