TechCircle opens Arc mainnet as it seeks an edge for USDC utility
Circle is scheduled to launch Arc’s public mainnet on Sept. 16, offering an Ethereum-compatible layer-1 where users can pay for transactions with the same USDC balance they use for payments. The network is open to developers but has a selected validator set including Circle and major financial institutions, giving USDC a broader operational role while its ability to generate new demand remains unproven.
