Canada has formally applied to join the UK-led Joint Expeditionary Force, Mark Carney’s office said after his talks with UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham. The two leaders also agreed to expand defense-industrial and economic cooperation, including work on frontier technologies and artificial intelligence.
