TechSolana triples transaction size as major upgrades meet record network activity

Solana has launched its V1 transaction format, raising the data capacity of a single transaction to 4,096 bytes—more than triple the previous amount. The network is also moving toward 250-millisecond slots, with 200 milliseconds remaining on its roadmap, as August non-vote transactions reached a record 5.2 billion.
