CultureGermany: Oktoberfest beer prices rise, outpacing inflation

A one-liter Mass at this year's Oktoberfest in Munich will cost an average of €15.61. UniCredit economist Andreas Rees says beer prices have climbed about 400% since 1985, compared with roughly 120% growth in Germany's consumer prices. This year's increase is 2.4%, below expected inflation of nearly 3%.
