Federal prosecutors charged Robinhood engineers Hefu Chai and Huaisong “Jerry” Xiang with allegedly using confidential token-listing information to trade perpetual futures on Hyperliquid. Prosecutors say each earned more than $50,000. They face commodities-fraud and wire-fraud counts carrying statutory maximums of 10 and 20 years.
