Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine warned that the opportunity to build the force needed to modernize the US Army is running out. He urged the military-industrial complex to move faster and deliver quality weapons on time and at lower cost, saying future conflicts will not allow assumptions of uncontested access, secure rear areas or uninterrupted sustainment.
